In 1958 a new company was formed by businessman Gordon Woodard and chemist Ernie Bridgeman. The marketing acumen and formulation wizardry of the two revolutionized the skincare industry. Bridgeman discovered that water, not oil, is the vital ingredient for healthy, youthful skin which led him to create the first Moistrio™ products and the three step system of cleansing, normalizing and moisturizing which is still the industry standard today. Woodard marketed the Moistrio™ products in an exclusive personal way - woman to woman. The party plan method of directly selling Viviane Woodard products to clients proved extremely popular and the company was launched.

One of Hollywood's most famous makeup artists, Gordon Bau, in conjunction with the Society of Makeup Artists asked the company to develop a makeup that was water-based and incorporated Viviane Woodard's advanced skincare technology. An alliance was formed and Mr. Jack Kevan from the SMA was assigned to work with the company to develop a glamour makeup line. The result was a makeup that is flawless, natural looking and beneficial to the skin.

Viviane Woodard recognized every woman desires to look her best and realized that the same products and techniques used by the Hollywood makeup artists could be used by women every day to create their own special look. Thus makeup products and professional techniques became part of the Viviane Woodard repertoire.

Over the years Viviane Woodard continues to develop a wide range of specialized skincare preparations incorporating the newest cosmetic technology and intensive research. Our business opportunity, available to anyone with the motivation and interest in developing her own career, remains vibrant after 50 years.
